Bridge & Culvert Maintenance, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Boulder City, Nevada: Prime $125,000

The work of this contract consisted of performing bridge and tunnel maintenance as recommended in the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) bridge inspections performed in 2015. Work varied per site and included cleaning and sealing bridge deck, cleaning expansion joints, installing markers, installing weep hole filters, patching spalled concrete, and/or removing vegetation. Locations included:

• Valley of Fire Wash Bridge on Northshore Road at Mile Post 42.3,
• Echo Wash Bridge on Northshore Road at Mile Post 33.2,
• Northshore Road, shoulder washout below concrete flume at Mile Post 14.5,
• West End Wash Culvert on Northshore Road at Mile Post 13.5 and washout at 13.1,
• Gypsum Wash Culvert and washouts on Northshore Road at Mile Post 4.45, 4.6 & 4.63,
• Northshore Culvert on Northshore Road at Mile Post 2.1,
• Las Vegas Wash Bridge on Northshore Road at Mile Post 0.9,
• Callville Bay Road, shoulder washout below concrete flume at Mile Post 3.1,
• Eldorado Bridge over Eldorado Canyon on Eldorado Access Road at Mile Post 14.4, Lakeshore
• Culvert on Lakeshore Drive at Mile Post 12.0,
• Lakeshore Bridge on Lakeshore Drive at Mile Post 9.6,
• The five tunnels of the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail:
• All in Clark County, Nevada in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
