Roads Resurfacing, Coronado National Forest: Prime Contractor    $825,000

The work consisted of resurfacing portions of two U.S. Forest Service jurisdiction roads west of Interstate 19 and northwest of Nogales, Arizona. The project locations are on a portion of the unpaved Tres Bellotas Road south of the town of Arivaca, Arizona, and on the unpaved portion of Ruby Road on Forest Service land starting immediately west of Pena Blanca Lake, Arizona. Resurfacing material shall be contractor-supplied Surface Course Aggregate material. Surface Course Aggregate material shall be produced, obtained, hauled, watered, placed, compacted and finished in compliance with Section 703 of the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal

Resurfacing material was supplied by SWP and was a surface course aggregate material.  The surface course aggregate was applied at a finished depth of 4-inches and a finished width of 18-feet except for those locations where the roadbed is less than 18-feet wide.
SWP was responsible for all temporary traffic control activities and traffic control devices during the course of the work. Public traffic was not stopped for more than 30 minutes in either direction on Ruby Road.
