SWP is a full-service Civil Contracting, Civil Engineering, and Professional Consulting Firm. Our personnel have been involved in transportation projects since our inception but we offer expertise in every aspect of construction. Our expertise is in general contracting services for clients that prefer contractor involvement. Alternative delivery methods are preferred especially those which involve pre-construction services such as CM At-Risk and Design-Build avenues.

Our Principles and well-seasoned employees make us a unique contractor.  Our experience stems from decades of work within large and medium-sized contracting and engineering companies. Collectively, the SWP team has over 100 years of contracting and engineering experience. All members started out in the field, learning the industry from the ground up, building experience so that they could evolve into positions of greater responsibility. The SWP team has real world, actual experience building, administrating and managing projects from a simple $1,000.00 pavement repair to a $100 million dollar energy project. SWP has continuously served our clients since 2005 with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

SWP subscribes to three guiding risk management principles:  effective business management, “zero-accidents” philosophy, and financial accountability.  We help our clients manage environmental risks by implementing strategies that integrate business, technical and compliance needs.  SWP's pro-active approach to the identification and mitigation of cost, schedule and performance risks has been developed, implemented and documented and has been the focal point of our successful project delivery.

As a Prime contractor, we have efficiently planned and smoothly executed contracts employing a score of sub-contractors and incorporating multiple change orders.

As a Sub-contractor, we seamlessly integrate our efforts with those of the Prime and other Sub-contractors on the job. Recent contracts include mechanical and electrical system upgrades, new building construction, runway construction (US Air Force), and civil infrastructure projects.

SWP Project Managers and executives take personal interest in every project and remain readily accessible to the owner and his/her representatives. In response to changing needs or conditions, they make prompt, considered decisions that tend to save money by saving time. Varied experiences have made the entire SWP team comfortable with working in a federal contracting environment.
