Phoenix – Goodyear Airport Runway Rehabilitation, Goodyear, AZ: Subcontractor
The Phoenix – Goodyear Airport Runway rehabilitation included a 3” mill, crack sealing prior to paving, and an overlay of the existing asphalt runway, protection of existing signage and lighting, and remarking the runway. This was a federally funded project.
The project has two different allowance items including:
-18” Wide Paving Fabric (Crack Larger than 1”) $10,000.00
-Crack Seal Allowance $150,000.00
Combs Construction Company was the low bidder of this project and retained the services of SWP Construction to perform these allowance items. Most of the work was completed during the weekend and at night to cause the least amount of inconvenience to the airport.
