August 3, 2018- Take a look into one of SWP’s current projects as we continue work on the Mirror Lake Trailhead relocation this week. Mirror Lake is located within the Mt. Hood National Forest, east of Portland, OR. Under contract with the Federal Highway Administration, SWP is constructing the North Plaza wall and excavating and grading along US 26 and Glacier View (FS Road 522). In addition to the roadwork, SWP is reworking the trail, including the removal and replacement of 9 structural timber and lumber pressure treated pedestrian bridges. This design and model was created by Dan Iliyn at David Evans & Associates, Inc.
July 26, 2018- SWP is pleased to be supporting the National Park Service on the Redwood National and State Parks Pavement Preservation Project. SWP's work includes resurfacing and re-striping of select roadways, parking areas, and park facilities.
July 19, 2018- SWP Contracting and Paving (SWP) is pleased to announce the completion of our pavement preservation project at the Lava Beds National Monument. SWP worked with the FHWA and NPS to improve accessibility, safety, and visitor experience at the monument. SWP’s experienced team resurfaced and appropriately striped all existing roadways, visitor parking areas, campgrounds, and park facilities.
July 3, 2018- Stormwater Plans, LLC dba SWP Contracting & Paving was awarded Pima County's Arterial/Collector Pavement Repair Project Phase I. 30k tons of asphalt paving....here we come! Way to go team!
May 31, 2018– Stormwater Plans, LLC dba SWP Contracting & Paving, is pleased to announce it was part of the Fisher team awarded the John L. Martin Partnered Project of the Year Award by the International Partnering Institute. This award was given in recognition of excellence in partnering on construction projects. The award highlighted collaboration on the Arizona DOT State Route 77 project.
