
SWP Corporate Headquarters Expansion & Renovation CM@R, 5632 N 54th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301: Prime Contractor $ 165,000
SWP moved into their 3280 sq. ft. corporate headquarters January of 2016 and by July 2017 had outgrown the space. SWP acquired 5145 sq. ft. of additional space to the North of the existing building and immediately started renovations on the main office space, warehouse, and exterior parking lot. The interior demolition consisted of old wood paneling, kitchen cabinets, built-in furniture, pocket door, counter tops, acoustical tile ceilings, pony wall, doors slabs, window coverings, and removal of all flooring tile and carpet.
New framing and infill of the walls where the new conference room was located, infill of the existing interior windows, framing a new door opening to the conference room, and framing a new door opening at the communication room. New sheetrock was placed including corner rounds at all corners in the building. Existing drywall was patched and floated from existing damage and areas where wallpaper and wood paneling had been removed.
Electrical work included the supply and installation of new additional light fixture thru the hallways and in the kitchen area by the back door. Total of fourteen (14) new cut in lights 2’ x 4’ were placed. The existing light fixtures in the offices were cleaned and new Plax glass installed. Four (4) new floodlights were installed at the warehouse including two new switched. All ceiling fans and vents to be removed. Communication including phone and data were routed to all of the new offices, conference room, and copier area.
Plumbing work included renovating the drain, vent, and water lines to accommodate plumbing fixture relocations per the plan; installation of two new floor mount w/c, two lavatory sinks, faucets, two compartment kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. All fixtures were builder grade commercial applications.
Additional work included new cabinets, doors, hardware, security system, warehouse roll-up door, new carpeting, new tile floorings, paint and gates. Exterior work included the removal of all asphaltic concrete, re-grading the aggregate base course, placement of 3” of new asphaltic concrete and final striping.
