Tonto National Forest Road maintenance – IDIQ –Prime Contractor
Project Scope of Work: The Forest Service awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to SWP to provide road maintenance services for all ranger districts on the Tonto National Forest, for a five-year period. The project consists of asphalt pavement maintenance, ditch cleaning, culvert basin cleaning, hauling of excavated material, repair of damaged culvert ends, removal of brush, hazard and obstruction removal, surface blading maintenance, roadway surface stabilization, roadway spot surfacing, drainage structure installation, road decommissioning, vegetation treatment and maintenance, maintenance of cattle guards, traffic gates, earth berms and guardrails, sign installation and maintenance, danger tree removal and the load, haul, and placement of materials. Tonto National Forest is located in central and northern Arizona
In July of this year, SWP was awarded three task orders, as prime, at the same time in various locations within the Tonto National Forest boundaries.
Delivery Order No: AG-94TZ-D-15-0016, Cholla Boat Ramp Access Road
• This pavement maintenance project included 4000 lineal feet of crack sealing, spot surfacing, saw cutting, removal, and milling of asphalt with a seal coat, as well as ancillary items such as traffic control and striping. The original cost was $32,215.00 and this work is on-going and a final construction cost is currently not known. The period of performance is July 1st, 2015 through December 31st, 2015.
Delivery Order No: AG-94TZ-D-15-0022, North Lake Road, Phase I
• This pavement maintenance project included 3500 lineal feet of crack sealing, spot surfacing, saw cutting, removal, and milling of asphalt with 52,000 ft2 of seal coat, as well as ancillary items such as traffic control and striping. The original cost was $63,997.00 and this work is on-going and a final construction cost is currently not known. The period of performance is July 1st, 2015 through December 31st, 2015.
Delivery Order No: AG-94TZ-D-15-0023, Tonto Creek Road
• This pavement maintenance project included 7700 lineal feet of crack sealing and 132,000 ft2 of seal coat, as well as ancillary items such as traffic control and striping. The original cost was $60,590.00 and this work is on-going and a final construction cost is currently not known. The period of performance is July 1st, 2015 through December 31st, 2015 with actual construction starting September 10th, 2015.
